During a time of personal transformation and the search for inner balance, I began to understand through the body how deeply our life experiences, emotions and stories are written in it. Through years of personal therapeutic experience, I have developed a sensitivity to the body as a space where unexpressed emotions, stresses and unprocessed experiences are also stored. This understanding led me to an in-depth study of yoga therapy, somatic practices and an embodied approach to working with people. I am a certified yoga therapist (Yoga Therapy Institute Amsterdam, IAYT accredited program) with more than a decade of experience in the field of yoga, mindfulness and body-oriented approaches. I am also a certified somatic healing practitioner, based on modern scientific findings on the impact of bodily experience on recovery from trauma, chronic stress and burnout. In my work, I combine knowledge from yoga, psychology, basic medicine, somatics and the latest research on the nervous system.
