Our reactions, feelings, tensions, or ways of dealing with life are not random \u2014 they often carry stories, experiences, and patterns that have been written into the body over time. The body remembers not only events, but also feelings, relationships, and ways of coping that once helped us but may now be distancing us from ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In my work, I create a safe and supportive space where, through movement, breath, mindful presence and a somatic approach, we explore together what lies beneath the surface of symptoms, internal tensions or repetitive patterns. It is not about fixing or pushing the body beyond its limits, but about gradually getting back in touch with yourself and the body&#039;s inner intelligence.<\/p>\n<p><b>Together we enter into a process of self-discovery and the slow unfolding of what has remained unexpressed, repressed, or trapped in the body. I am primarily interested in how we can create more balance, security, and connection with ourselves through a more conscious relationship with our bodies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: var(--awb-color4);\">The process involves breath, movement, relaxation techniques, guided visualizations, meditative practices, rest, and exploration of bodily sensations \u2014 not with the intention of fixing the body, but rather creating a space where the body can gradually calm down, relax, and feel more supported from within again.<\/p>\n<p><b style=\"color: var(--awb-color4);\">An important part of my work is also teaching simple tools that individuals can use independently in their everyday lives. Through my own experiences, I began to understand how strongly life experiences, stress, and emotional responses are reflected in the body.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: var(--awb-color5); font-family: 'Open Sans'; font-weight: 400;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Open Sans\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"400\">This led me to an in-depth study of yoga therapy, somatic approaches and body-based work. I am a certified yoga therapist (Yoga Therapy Institute Amsterdam, IAYT) and somatic healing practitioner, and I constantly upgrade my work with additional education in the field of body-based approaches, mindfulness, nervous system regulation and the connection between body, emotions and inner experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: var(--awb-color5); font-family: 'Open Sans';\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Open Sans\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"400\"><b>But what I still learn the most is from the people I work with.
